I don't believe in bans, I think everyone should be able to play but I wouldn't absolve people... I'd rather just disband the guild, remove the leadership and block any attempts at reforming another guild. Durison and crew can still play the box, but they totally won't be able to raid under their banner, nor create a new puppet guild.
I would also stop poopsocking by flushing the zone out every 10 minutes with #aggrozone | ||

I think they will be able to handle 50-80 active members like they have been. Beyond that yeah - you may be right if those numbers were accurate ;-) I will not be surprised when kunark does roll out and DA numbers are stronger than ever while they still maintain a stronghold on major raid targets. Most likely players like Tubban will be eliminated and other guilds will be experiencing what DA has experienced. The one common problem I find with playing EQ from server to server which I am positive other players have made the mistake of - logging into p99 WITH MQ2 on then promptly logging off. Other servers allow it which screws ya up if ya forget to turn it off when on p99. I can gaurantee that some have chosen to leave it on because they are only going to EC or possibly they logged out in lguk the day before and they are online to check the MOTD and say hi. Its a matter of making that decision to turn it off or log out. Some make the wrong decision. No guild leader will ever control ever players decision making in a game of pixels. IB, Divinity, TMO, DW and other guilds are all subject to that same issue - DA was made an example of. I would like to see other guilds outed - it just appears that DA is the target. I felt they were an honest high quality guild while I played with them and maintain that thinking. | ||

Some of your ideas have seriously been considered Abacab, and trust me.. I'd love no more than to #aggrozone random people. Alas, we keep ourselves to a professional standard here.

When I led that crew I was straight forward and honest with other guilds, if you see me in your zone you better duck, cause Abacab is crazy as fuck. If I was going to steal your mob or train you, I let you know well in advance. The thing with DA is it's not honest with it's intentions, it's not honest to it's roster who are clueless about the whole situation and it only exacerbates the drama as they flood into the forum white-knighting for some known but murky grey reason. I laid it out before, if you want to settle this drama there needs to be a 1v1 with the leadership of DA and IB they need to have a representative fight for their right to exist, the loser should just pack up shop, delete their toon and start over. Which ever side loses the leadership forfeits their right to that character and forfeits their guild leadership role, the players in that respective guild are free to pursue other interests and will only lack a tag at this point.
