1st offense is 30 days with IP exemptions removed from the account(s). 2nd is a permanent ban.

A more classic solution probably would have been to start artificially lagging people when they hit more than 25 mobs.
^^ This.

another solution with pbAOE would be to cap xp on big pulls, like you get xp for the first 25 mobs, no more

Just as a side note form the other side of the table; I would and will never help you or any other transfer any high value items. I know people who has been banned becasue they did random transfers like these for whoever who got banned for whatever (well deserved). This had a cause of ripple effect though as the helpers who transfered what ever this way got assosiated with this and got banned as well.

To save yourself going through petition becasue you might be caught in what ever I recommend do not transfer items for others. Just 1 day of an undeserved ban is nerve wrecking.

There are plenty who still do ^^ I do and I never have trouble finding peeps to help me. Shouldn't let it dampen your enjoyment of the game ^^

if salaryman can steal an AoN and other high value items after chumming it up to a new guild/guildmates for a month. then get banned for 3-4 months and items restored to owner, i think thats pretty safe to say #win. though a perma ban wouldve been better when it was a straight clear cut "yeah i took ur shit, u handed it to me, deal with it"
