you are free to think whatever you want. its irrelevant to this conversation but good troll attempt.
Its a troll attempt to ask someone who is concerned about donations how much they themselves have donated?

I consider that to be perfectly reasonable.

One of the main reason I started a character on Red99 was for the classic only starting period and the fresh economy.

If there was to be a server restart, or a second blue server I would totally roll a toon there.

Just to get things back on topic, this thread/poll is about how doubling the PvE content with another P99 server would affect the community and the the interest people would have in it.

It would have to be a different ruleset for me to consider. Just some thoughts below which I would personally be interested in.
  • No ip exemptions
  • All magic items are no drop, you earn everything you wear.
  • Vendors do not sell any food, armor, weapons. You buy those things from people doing those tradeskills or make them yourself. Make tradeskills more viable.
  • Remove common language. Kind of like the Firiona Vie server. Have to learn to speak each race's language if you want to understand them.
  • Race/Class exp bonus/penalty removed
  • All weapons proc at level 1. If your guild decides to raid Blackburrow at level 5 and a Gnoll Hide Lariat drops, it should proc!
  • Damage cap removed, for the same reason as above. If you happen to loot a high damaging weapon at level 1, it should do whatever damage it is capable of.
  • All classes can Bind, don't know if this is possible. Having to get a bind as a melee adds zero fun. Having to go bind someone as a caster adds zero fun.

It's a pretty reliable sign of a simple minded individual when they recklessly use words they do not understand.

"Troll" is almost always used by people who don't know what it means, these people never say anything worth listening to. Just a heads up.

I'm curious as to why you'd desire a server with no IP exemptions. Less population?

The rest of your changes would make it "Not EQ", not even not classic, just "Not EQ", which I'm sure lots of people wouldn't want.

It is commonly abused if you didn't already know.

Some people don't like when one person bots a group to hold a camp.

Evidently troll means "people who ask Joroz uncomfortable questions."

It is my understanding that two boxing is nigh-impossible on this server.
Especially with Amelinda perma banning criminals and there being sweeps done for two boxers regularly.

I don't think two boxing scum lasts long here...

I like this idea, it's fun to think about what would you do if you were customizing EQ.

- I think the cleric guildmaster in towns should be able to bind melee
- Greater HP/Mana regen out of combat
- Custom AAs to define classes further into their roles
- Instance dungeons / raid targets (chance for random dungeon monsters when you instance in would be cool, you could keep a game fresh without having to make it goofy like Luclin, PoP etc etc You zone into Guk and Trolls have take over etc etc)
- Some outdoor mobs reduced in strength or additional monsters in every outdoor zone that are weaker and provide less XP to allow classes to solo while looking for a group
- Random quest scrolls that drop from monsters, that would send you on a journey to collect items etc for a reward
- Auctioneer gnome in tunnel to place your wares for sell with (WoW has some good ideas!)
