Kevynne is right on about the Shedd Aquarium, thats my #1 fav. my second is probably the art institute (but for all the wrong reasons).

Lincoln Park Zoo is free. is its not a horrible place to walk around if your bored and or drunk.

the bean. i do not understand the bean. but go down there and just watch the people. they feel some need to be close to the bean. just a ton of people that feel cool for being close to it. lots of douchebags at the bean.

and then we have..

It wasn't? It was probably 2 miles away from Midway.... and you know, it still took us 2 FUCKING HOURS to get to the airport that day. and we DID miss our flight.. Chicago traffic is fucked.

It wasn't a big deal, since it was southwest we just moved to the next flight. My coworker was ready to stab me though because we didn't get into Boston until midnight.. got to the car at 1 AM and back to the office to get his car at 1:30...

i blame your GPS. you should have taken 90 to 294 to 55 to midway, and gone around the city, instead of right through the middle of it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

and i felt bad for your coworker, theres no way he was thrilled to meet some guy that wanted to talk about p99 :P

I considered renting a car but now I surely will not! Since I am staying Downtown anyway, I should be pretty close to all of the neat stuffs, yeah? Or at least close to accessible public transpo to get me there.
