Bard mezz songs are broken as well, but it's probably tied in along with the rest of the issues. I am only able to continually mezz a mob and do nothing else but attack. If you try to sing another song, mezz breaks about 2-3 seconds after stopping.

Level 15 song Kellin's Lucid Lullaby (AE: Enthrall) seems to be broken.. it's single target only.
The level 15 Mesmerize should be AoE but is only working on one NPC. The higher level Mez songs are single target, but I remember the first one being AoE. I don't know if this is good enough evidence but the caster's realm mirror from January 2000 says:
Name: Kellin's Lucid Lullaby.
Level: 15.
Mana: Not Required.
Song Type: String, not required.
Type: General Purpose song of varied benefits.
Actual Effects: Area Effect: Enthrall.
Description: This song will put to sleep mobs in close proximity to you.

The best way to test this is to go into a newb yard, aggro 2-3 mobs, and sing the mez song on one of them. When I tried this I got:
1. Nothing, song appears to complete but no "Head nods" message.
2. It works, but only current target mezzed, nothing happens to the others.
3. No twisting possible, as soon as I stop singing the mez song it wears off. Or at most lasts another 3 seconds. I made sure to wait until the song is "fresh" before switching so it should last at least 5-6 seconds.

What I think should happen is:
1. Current target and those nearby are all mezzed, unless resisted.
2. Twisting possible (if dangerous) as long as mez song is landed again within 6 seconds.

[edit] I just hit 15 on my bard, so if someone higher level could test the 28 mez that would be great. For the devs: On live Kelin's was nerfed to work only on mobs under 25. At that point you had to start using the 28th level Crission's Pixie Strike. With an 18 second duration, you can keep 4-6 mobs asleep with Crission's by switching between targets and constantly recasting mez. With the issues of duration and songs not landing, I dont' see that working atm. Thanks for looking at these issues!

My status so far:

I have interrupts working right, pretty much.
Durations fixed (I hope)
Animations not working
Bard mana will refresh while singing
Filtering bard songs, will filter the song spam, and the graphics.
And a few other little things.

I am working on:
Getting the instrument modifier to stick, if it was equipped when song started.

I do have a live account, and can go look at instaclickies, compared to other clickies. Then will need research on this to back it up in the classic era.

When I was trying to play a bard, my twisting would often get bugged. A song would start "casting, but then stop almost instantly and it would keep doing this no matter what song you sang after. It would give a "your song ends" message if I recall correctly. It would rarely(!) fix itself if you randomly spammed starting all songs, but it would take at least 5 seconds of constantly spamming for it to get fixed.

This is what I have spent most of my time working on, identifying all the ways you get bugged while twisting. I think I have them worked out. Hopefully we can get it pushed out soon, so you all can tell me if I got it right or not.

I finished coding of the modifiers storing when you start the song, but I haven't tested yet because I am in class at school. Hopefully I can finish my testing tonight.

the current problem with songs not hiting at all after the cast is executed + shorter duration is a GENERAL problem on EVERY song that can occur 50% of the time a spell is casted

btw, 28mez works just fine....in theory right now and before patch [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I tested it for over a half hour and it never hit any mob other than the one I had targeted. I tried just letting the song run, and I tried switching targets. It never hit any other mob except the target, so I don't think its just the general issue we have all seen. I am confident that Kellin's Lucid Lullaby is acting as a single target spell and not AoE like it should. Hopefully the changes made to interrupt and duration will fix this as well, but I thought it was worth posting, especially since others had mentioned it but not provided the exact steps Haynar asked for. I am just trying to help!

you say it is suppose to be an ae mes, I have more than once source saying it is single target mes.

that spreadsheet link that was posted earlier in this thread says it is single target and also -

http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.htm...24&source=Live

it could have been changed from an ae mes to a single target but it seems unlikely and in my experience castersrealm has proven to be an unreliable source in the past.
