that if you looked at the sirens on the boat ride to freeport (or anywhere near land) that it would trigger pirates

the shark in oot would drag your corpse away and hide it forever

that you would DODGE better if you had cut-off clothes (vest, shorts....clothes that in real life wouldnt hinder movement) so monks in robes were stupid, wearing full plate made you slower ect, ect.

that sandgiants were like T-rex's and wouldnt aggro you if you stood still..................... fucker whoever told me that >.>

That I was qutting EQ forever...

And that if I didn't stack haste effects in the right order they would get borked, although I think this might be less of a superstition and more of a lack of trust in Sony's shat-hole programming skills.

Oddly, I never thought that so much. I've re-activated my live account a couple of times in hope of keeping the characters intact.

Sometimes I still think about checking out Live again.

When I did 'quit' - I did think that would be it, but it was just because the game was older, etc...

Makes me curious though... to be honest. I know live is so much different now.

I wonder about live from time to time too. I know that I bought Secrets of Faydwer, but my RL career was picking up, and I hated the constant need to upgrade with each expansion. I never got to fully experience the expansions I had before another was out. Lagaidh the 1st ended up L71 I think.

Sometimes I wonder if I could get any RL $ for my AoN and plat on live. My toon has some good flagging, but I could never ever sell my account.

I wouldn't waste the 15 bucks to just sell a few things.(an AoN is worth about 60-85k, which is about what I sell 2 lvl 85 cultural augs for if thats any way to gage server prices.)

85's in high end group gear can solo raid mobs from GoD back We Duo and Trio Anguish. I still play on live when a couple RL friends are into it. But yes its very very different. The only thing that similar is the graphics. EQ live is only a remnant of what was EQ. Hence why P99 rocks!

I can't really think of any that I believed. I heard a lot of them though. The clockwork dragon was my favorite I think.
