![]() Look, no one knows for sure if 2 boxing was going on, besides the people operating the computers in that house. The GMs probably have the best knowledge outside of that, and if they believe two-boxing was occurring, that is the final word.
Several posts here indicated that others did not know there was a "no 2 accounts from the same IP rule". How is that possible? It is stated clearly in a lot of different posts, most notably the Library/FAQ. There is even an exception process that supports multiple players from the same IP. Even with the exception process, if two accounts are doing something suspicious that makes the GMs believe one person is operating both accounts at the same time, expect a hammer. This whole thing is not rocket science, just a bit of reading, common sense and the ability to follow fully disclosed rules. | ||

I would have known it was impossible to do had my sister tried playing. It's good that two-boxing is not allowed, and it's good that they allow IP exemptions. That's what matters. So, those who are being banned for two-boxing are those who have been granted IP exemptions. That I did not know. I really did think you could just log on multiple times from the same IP. It's good to know that you can't do that without an exemption.

This person was boxing, and I do not need to 'test' someone nor inform them prior to banning when we already have enough evidence. This particular situation is not always the case nor has it been accessible until recently, and in other cases it may be necessary to test the players.
