You do your 4 to 8 years, then you get 120k base pay up to 180k to stand around oil at risk of having to preemptively dump a 100 rd drum and wipe out every civilian in sight because you felt your life was threatened, with no rules of engagement since you work for the embassy and have borderline diplomatic immunity thru the State Dept as a contractor.

Heard things get a lot safer when Sarge isn't in your ear shouting to stand down and disengage.
