Default issue getting to server selection

The launcher is loading with the server list, unfortunately when I try to put in my un/pw it doesn't make a connection. This only effects my laptop, my desktop works just fine on the same connection. I walked next door with my laptop right before this started happening so I may have switched over to my neighbor's WiFi. I've attempted connecting on two different connections with the laptop, does anyone know what could have happened?

Is there any reason I could have been blocked by mac? My IP would have changed from switching wifi networks, but connection with the server would be lost immediately as the connection was terminated from the initial network so I'm not sure it would even make a difference.

There are known issues with the loginserver and wifi, if the wifi signal is not strong enough. You may want to try getting closer to the wifi router, or plugging a hardwire in.

Actually, what should work, is if you go take your laptop almost right next to the wifi router, only while logging in.. once you get to char select, bring your laptop back to wherever and you should be fine.

So, I figured it out, and in case someone else has this problem...uninstall mcafee. This laptop came with mcafee on it and we never removed it. I tried using a wired connection and it dawned on my that something was blocking it on my side (or at least it seemed like that was the case). So, after uninstalling I was able to get logged in.

Thanks for following up Rogean, your advice is certainly appreciated.
