Trading with Divinity
It has come to my attention that there is someone running around (usually in EC) claiming to be several of Divinity's most trusted and helpful members of the server in order to fake trades with people or get "temporary loans until I switch to my main."
For your own safety, please make sure the person you are trading with is wearing a Divinity tag. If they are claiming to be a member, they will have a tag. I'm pretty disappointed that someone would use the name of some of the most selfless players on the server just to dupe others out of money, but so be it. If anyone finds themselves approached by a player suggesting a trade or loan and claiming to be a tagless Divinity member, please feel free to send me or any Divinity member a tell in game with that player's name.

No matter how you slice it. If someone is using a guild name under false pretenses, no matter how you feel about that guild is a pretty lame move. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Have some respect for yourself, or go Red when it comes out. Then you can be as much of an (Insert an unladylike like term here) as you like.

Hobby announced in game that ALL trades are voluntary and you should
be sure you can completely (100%, not the case with strangers most of the time) trust the person you're waiting to "Log on an alt, or my main." Otherwise, if they burn you its you're own fault. Not saying Divinity would do this, but anything's possible.

That announcement was completely directed to this thread. No, I doubt it was a Divinity member..and I doubt it's someone with a Divinity Tag... but it doesnt change the fact that people who get scammed are usually asking for it.
Be secure with your items. If you just give it away then you never should of had them to begin with.
