I just dont get it, why 1 person would ruin the fun for alot of people ? I mean, whats the gain ? Does he think its cool or what ? Someone explain why its fun to ruin others fun. I think its pretty pathetic, that someone does it - I mean, wonder what the dude/dudette RL is like ? Has to be a sad life.

Come on server admin dudes!

This is easily enough solved with a stateful firewall.

This isn't a new concept and a matter that is easily dealt with.

I'll write the rule set for you, if you want to use iptables.

I dont know if it is related to DDOS, but I am getting about a 1 second lag on spells and abilities this morning, not sure if anyone else has the same?

do you understand DDoS? Its not a matter of saturating the server, its a matter of saturating the incoming bandwidth. That is your incoming link before it even gets to your firewall. It needs to be done upstream at the ISP level
