it's not the vehicle that matters, it's the message. anything that could potentially spread the message of white supremacy/nazism should be watched over with a careful eye. if you notice a pattern, you need to do something about it. you could even accuse me of being a part of it by posting that florida image in this thread. same meme used by the shooter. hell, even the message in that image could be construed as part of it, and you wouldn't be wrong for saying that i contributed to those causes. i'm disgusted w/ myself for it, and it will be a valuable lesson going forward to higher prioritize not spreading anything that could be construed as nazi ideology, even if secondary or even tertiary to the main point. that's all i can really do.

tl;dr you have to be vigilant and watchful with fascism, and watch for patterns to emerge. there is no easy answer such as "banning memes", but learn to be critical of the media you consume constantly.

it was a mistake and i acknowledge it as such. however, i do not have a repeated pattern of history of that kind of posting. i don't defend it whatsoever and actively tried to delete it once i realized the source of it (zimmerman era /pol/ propaganda to meme about stand your ground laws, to normalize the concept of it)
