Default Classic Options

Can anyone accurately state what to set each display option to for as close of a classic experience as possible in terms of gamma, far clip plane, spell particles, etc.?

Particles should be high and near as they were designed. Far clip plane should be maxed since they are already at classic levels on this server. Gamma depends on your display and since it affects the UI and all light sources evenly, it cannot be relied on to recreate classic lighting.

I think default gamma for me was 1.0 so I couldnt see at night, more than a few paces even with a torch. (Had to set gamna outside game)

Bronze armour was blue and there was zero support for non-us keyboard layouts.

The experience is a bit different for everyone, adjust until you are happy, for me thats vel ui and classic spell gems.

You have to buy a Compaq with a Cyrix processor, a dsl Internet connection, and a CRT monitor. Anything less won't give you accurate classic graphics and video/Internet lag.
