Tailoring leveling up
Anyone have any tips for hitting 208 tailoring for the coldain shawl 6? it looks absolutely brutal once Wu's stuff becomes trivial

I feel like a lot of people take tailoring to the early 160's and go for the combine there.

Tips: Get max wis or int, whichever you have highest (ench buff helps here). Get max dex (ench or sham). Have multiple stacks of mat's ready for a run of combines. Wyvern hide gear (from cs) probably best here. Then do an extended run of tailoring, dropping stuff on the ground, so you use those buffs. Gluck!

Its far faster/easier to refarm the drops (Siren/Manticore/Wolf etc) than to try skilling tailoring to 208
Theres a chart somewhere, but iirc its around 52-55% success chance at 158 skill

having done the quest 3x and doing the combine at 158.. failed once, would do that again instead of the tailoring grind

failed one so far but having a ton of trouble killing wolves for the whisker, i think i got 2 drops in <10 mobs the first time and now im thru ~100 with only one, ive been killing the ones in GD near the EW zone line. are there wolves elsewhere with a higher drop rate or am i just getting extremely unlucky?
