Default I just stiffed a dial a Porter, oops

Hey, this goes out to the druid whose name that started with a D (I think) and was lvl 51 or 52. You picked me up in misty and ported me to Gd. I'm super sorry, I wasn't even thinking and just ran off after the port and totally stiffed you. I owe you a tip when I get back home and can log in. Hopefully I'll remember your name and can track you down... Terribly sorry.

Don't feel bad. They have a monopoly on porting and use it to influence the free market in their favor, not ours.

They should be broken up really.

It's a free market people, stop bitching about "monopoly", all they've done is band together so like-minded individuals can share common interests, help promote their cause. Anyone is free to use any other porter they wish, there is no limitation on choice whatsoever. So stop being lazy and start sending tells and build up a list of your own preferred porters, and quit the whining it just makes you look lazy.

I'm a druid, and i take pride in NOT being part of Dial A Port.
I take pride in it, because i enjoy playing my druid, rather than just using it as a cash cow.

None the less, the druid is a sought after class because of its teleports, so its no wonder and no problem that a lot of people play it for the money. Them banding together is only natural, as it boosts their clientele.

Still, i consider a lot of people in Dial A Port for scrubs and greedy, but there are plenty of nice and helpful people there still [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Also, i have no problem making money by porting outside of DAP, but a mate of mine who is in DAP, dwarfs my income by far, so if Money is your goal, DAP is for you!

Never had a problem with any DAP members.

Also never had a problem giving people ports with my unguilded wizard.

Never had a problem getting ports just from random passer bys either (misty thicket is a handy bind for a warrior on a corpse run! Restock on potions/bandages in RV then find a banking druid for a ride).

I think a lot of people just like to whine? If not please elaborate on exactly how DAP are so evil?

We don't need a F'ing Union for Druids on here. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Over and out. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] There is a million of them on here, not counting Wizards. Like we really can't find a Port??
