I don't agree with "lowering taxes" platforms because they always -- every time in history -- talking mostly about lowering taxes on people with plenty of money. Never one pep about lowering poor people's taxes substantially.

Money people work for should be taxed less and not more than passive incomes.
Depends on what you qualify as passive income. Money generated in the stock market, especially lately, is at risk.

Money earned in treasury funds; not so much.

With that said, yeah taxes lower on the middle class. Hard to envision less than negative tax liability for our underacheivers though.

When i was younger, and more naive, when i ised to go out to a restaurant mildly pricey, i would assume that these other people at the restaurant were getting all sorts of things that were being withheld from me.

Now that im a little older, and my girl and i go out 3 or 4 times a year for a mildly expensive dinner, i assume the crowds are probably in a fairly similar state, financially, as myself, and just because i see them chowing down on a 30$ plate while sharing a 50$ bottle of wine i dont assume they're doing it every night.

When i was younger, and a bit more self-centered and covetous, i assumed they were out there throwing stacks, and making it rain every night.

It's terrible. But I had to watch it anyway.

I think it had everything to do with growing up confused in the 80s because of Reaganomics and watching westerns, but still being confused.

So it's probably good that you don't "really get it".

I liked Firefly. You definitely have to invest past the first few episodes. If you just watch the first one then yea, it seems awful.

I’ll try again at some point. Episode one is really really bad. I made it 15 minutes
