Langseax Quest question

Before I go posting this in the bugs section I thought I'd ask the friendly forum folk.

Is the Langseax/Langseax of the Wolves quest working?

I was able to advance to the point where I am supposed to go to the barbarian fishing village in WK. I speak with Ulrich McMannus and he indicates that Frostbite the dog can track the murderer if he has a piece of sweaty shirt. Now this is where I supposed to return to Dok in Halas and ask him where the sweaty shirt is and he is supposed to send me to Tundra Jack. However, Dok does not reply to any statements after that point.

I also tried to bypass Dok by doing the Lions Delight quest and going directly to Tundra Jack, however Tundra Jack does not respond to hails/phrases and he ate the Lions Delight without giving me the shirt.


So far my faction has been amiable with everyone (I'm pretty sure). Any thoughts?

Did you give the lions delight to tundra jack? You are supposed to give it to iceberg or whatever the bear is called.

Ah, well then I did mess that part up. I was a little unclear as to whom I was supposed to give it to since I could not speak to Dok or Tundra Jack. I will try to give it to Iceberg, thank you for the help.

Just a little follow up for those interested in this quest.

I could still not get Dok to reply to inquiries about the sweaty shirt, though I was able to complete the "short version" as outlined at allakazam.com. Turning the Lions Delight into Iceberg did the trick, Wenai.

Just to finalize this quest off, I did this twice:

The barbarian murders used to spawn much farther away than they are now, it used to be quite an adventure following frostbite through WestKarana and keeping him alive until he tracked them down.

They used to spawn all the way near the bandit camps near the hills, not through the camps but close. Now they spawn just a few meters from the fishing village.

Also when You give frostbite the shirt he says "I Picked 1 or I Picked 2" (Depending on which barb spawned, which Gives either Langseax or Langseax of the Wolves. ) I think he used to just respond as "Ruff Ruff"
