How to create a log file?

My everquest folder does not have a log file in it. Just creating a new folder named Logs or what ever does not work. Reading online I need to locate the eqclient file and set logs == true. The only file i see in the everquest folder is eqlsClient, and their is no true/false log option there. Was wondering if anyone knew where I can find the correct eqclient file or if there is another way?

In your EverQuest install folder (where eqgame.exe resides), there is also a file named eqclient.ini. Open this file. (If you can't find it, you aren't looking hard enough. The game won't run without it.)

This file has many values in it. Look for the following value:

Log=FALSE

(line 12 for me)

And change to:

Log=TRUE

Exit the game (if running) and re-launch, and log into a character. You will now see a log file under the Logs folder of your EverQuest install, and will record all of your chat windows until you disable it.

I was looking hard enough. I figured it out I have to right click my eq shortcut and set it to run as administrator. Then rest of the eqclient and logs folder appears. Thanks though

u still have to change it to "Log=True" or it wont actually log
