getting started

Howdy, I just signed up and need to download the game. I have read the setup steps but I have one question. I see in the above "sticked" post about an eq lite client. I'm not the most comp. savy when it comes to the nomencalture. If I download this can I start playing? or do I need to still buy the titanium edition of the game?

I looked online and the cheapest I found was $50, I'm scared to use torrent incase someone is offering a bugged version. If I cant use this EQ Lite to start playing then would someone be so kind as to offer me a link to downloadable link that is safe?

Hopefully I can get playing soon, seems alot of peeps from Emarr are on this server, I started when velious came out and quite after GoD. My mains name was galvinized or Brolan, monk & chanter. I really enjoyed Velious so am looking forward to playing classic again.
