Deamon Tools help.

Hey guys,

I'm really interested in getting involved, and I downloaded the torrent, but when I try to run Deamon Tools I'm met with this message, "This program is blocked due to compatibility issues" I am running Windows 7 32bit.

Any suggestions here?

Download Daemon Tools lite from their website...its what I use and I have had no issues.

You can also try running your current daemon tools in compatibility mode. Rclick the exe, go to properties, compatibility tab, run winxp sp3 mode. Worth a shot...but I dont see why it isnt already working.

Avoid Daemon Tools entirely, just extract the data from the 5 .iso files with 7-zip (right click, extract here) or WinRar or your file compression tool of choice. Run setup.exe. When it asks you to insert disc 1, just select the folder that has data1.cab in it. Done.

thank you for the advice, it worked!

I am now uncertain how to obtain or install the spell files required.

Eqemu seems to be offline or something.

Can this be done manually?

You can download the spell file off the main website for p99 and just unzip it into your eq directory. Or download the patcher and use that. I am not sure if its required but i install the launcher in my eq director and then create a shortcut on my desktop. Works well for me.

Or just go the the Technical Discussion Forum and do the Duxa thingy and let it do it for you. I run the Duxa UI for all my toons. Nice setup.
