First off... Halo made xbox live
Secondly... Halo may have its noob. But it has/had a massive competitive edge of almost any game to date. Now StarCraft/League of Legends.
Thirdly... I'm tired of Call of Duty...\

But I will agree with Halo taking a tragic turn for the worst... A new FPS needs to take Cod/Halo's place.

I am hoping Destiny sheds some new light on the FPS genre.
Bungie's done it once. They can revolutionize it again.

While I promote the destroying of TMO baddies wherever they may be, halo 4 is just bad.

Destroy them in a real FPS.
Unreal Tournament?

Halo 4? My little brother plays that, hes 10 years old. That's cool though, you must be generation Z-tard into mouth breathing X-Box FPS's.

Name an FPS that wasn't played regularly by 10 year olds please.

I started playing Wolfenstein 3D in 1993 when I was 8 so I fail to see the relevance of your statement.

Halo:CE and Halo 2 were by far the best of the series and i was able to acquire some nice money playing them competitively.
BXR

Having played competitive Halo 2 I can tell you it was a total joke. The rampant amount of sanctioned exploiting was at best infuriating and the ridiculous MLG rulesets that ended up later being implemented made things worse.

They at least attempted to balance the game with Halo 3 which worked quite well for a time until MLG came to the forefront and fucked things up again.

Regardless an FPS should only be played with a mouse/keyboard. As much as I adored (understatement) the storyline/setting/gameplay of Halo/2/3/ODST, I'd still pick up Quake anything or Unreal 2003/2004 over it in a heartbeat if I had a hankering for some deathmatch.
