Here is the install guide

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...6832973&type=3

The file you need is FFXI-A The client is Abyssea ultimate edition which is closest to retail

The server has 34 active developers

HEre is forum link

https://forums.dspt.info/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=163

you will have to register to see the forum most likely

Getting the software takes a long time, I have it completed and may consider FTPing it directly to someone or even hosting it on my web server if I get around to it.

IF YOU ARE PURELY INTERESTED IN PVP PLAY DARK AGE OF CAMELOT ON UTHGARD SERVER.

FFXI is a very happy pve oriented game, its very relaxing.

And on that note heres a pic of my lettuce

not bad for 13 days old

What makes this a good mmo? Final Fantasy is cool and all, but I prefer elves and gnomes. What are the classes like, particularly healers?

FFXI Is the most successful long standing mmo to date, it has been heavily populated since release and live is still very populated now

It has the most detailed storyline, quests and the pve is pretty good. There is no gnomes but there are tarutaru and there are elves, hume and mithra, and my fav Galkans !

Why not give it a shot?

All classes work except blue mage and corsair ( For obvious reasons they are hard to script )

All instances work , All bosses work ( and have accurate drop tables )

All zones work

Boxing is permitted and the population is low because its in development. But take a look at how broken red is and what staff has allowed nihilum to do since roll?

Be honest, any time spent on red99 is a waste.

FFXI Has thousands of quests and thousands of named mobs both heroic and ordinary.

Time is required to add everything. Would you rather play a server that gets less then 7 patches a year?

Darkstar got 7 updates TODAY

Heres the proof !

Feel free to hate yourself silly basiah , but project is open source and you can see if the bosses are itemized , players are just now reaching dynamis and its hard because there aren't enough players

Why not give it a shot? EQ has nothing to offer but pure mad?

Seems PD is the name of a client or server version, not a particular server

Interested in taking a look at this, since i like to play all moderately succesful MMOs at least a little bit to see what i missed. Played DAOC like that last year, was fun for a while.

Does anyone know a solid server

Guess bazia answered this for me? lol
