Testament of Vanear question

Hey guys,

I'm trying to do the quest for the Testament of Vanear and just got to the area where Dellin Starsine spawns. All the wiki says is that he has a 6-8 hour pop time and no placeholders. Does that mean I need to just kill smugglers until he spawns or will he just randomly pop on his own?

And do I need to worry about the rogue GMs that hang out in that area? Will they take me out if I attack smugglers or what?

You just sit at his spawn point and wait for him to pop. You dont have to kill any other mobs in the area. He pops. He Dies. He spawns 6-8 hours later. That is all. No idea about Rogue GM's as i never killed a mob there other then Dyllin

Did it over the weekend, just sit and wait. Think it was about two hours to spawn. Nothing added but I rooted him and blasted him dead.

be sure not to agro the wandering guy. quickly kill you if you're low enough.

wandering rogues, including the mega high level one will pwn you if you don't take him out fast enough. I had to book it to the hold zone line right after killing/looting him, plan your route.

I killed him at about 21:30 Mountian Standard time. July 10th. Hope that helps. I had been checking since 15:30pm July 9th.

He spawns under that canopy where the crafting stations are. If you are close to him in lvl you can stand right in the corner there to avoid smugglers attacking when you attack Dylin.

Sit & Wait man .. I was lucky to caught him spawned. I play on EU time so its easy to get spawns like this .. =)
