Default Allow Greens To Poop On Reds

First of all, read Dullah's post on a three team ruleset before reading this. To summarize his thread: team 1 and 2 will have a safey net of a team that can't attack each other while team 3 is a discord FFA team. In the thread there was also a reference to EQ2s pvp of Qeynos vs Freeport vs Exile. That got me thinking...

In EQ2, a "gray" the equivalent of a "green" in EQ, was able to attack any character higher level then them. As such, when the greeny attacked the red, the red could also attack the greeny. I think if we implemented this in EQ it may be an amazing alternative to the several requests for BOTH a pvp lvl range (say 8 lvls) and also a complete FFA of pvp on all levels.

Just imagine zoning into Mistmoore and some shithead rogue who's 10 lvls higher is ksing all of your mobs. You and your pals, being the pissed off wizards/mages you are, turn on the rogue and kill him as he's trying to ks another mob. In EQ2 this was one of the most glorious and funny things about PvP. You had the power as a lowbie to take a dump on a red if you had the manpower. Also would increase team comradery because as a green you would be able to help the higher lvls out in team pvp. The last and one of the most important factors is it would completely eliminate the concept of immortal healers.

What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

I remember back in EQ2 when my necro would shit on groups of blues till they changed it when you leveled you did not get the resist bonus and groups of blues could kill the red.

SZ had code for lower levels to have a better chance to land a spell on a higher level player.

Good idea, but everyone rolling discord seeing as how egos come into play here is going to make this a few and far between bonus.
