Rogue Offhand: Jade Mace or Runed Morning Star?

I have both of these weapons available to me and was curios as to which one would be a better overall offhand for my rogue. the ratio on the mace (9/18) is only slightly better than the morning star (12/26).. Would the lower delay on the mace create more dps than the higher damage on the morning star?

delay doesn't matter for offhand, only ratio. that said, Jade Mace does have a better ratio... no stats, though. if you're already close to 200 STR, i'd say go Jade Mace offhand... otherwise, go with Runed Morning Star.

Don't use your weapon slots for stats. Use them for better weapons. Jade Mace.

Runed Morning Star has 7STR and a nearly equivalent ratio. how much extra backstab damage is 7STR going to do?

I always understood it as (for Rog anyways):
1) highest damage piercer in mainhand.
2) best ratio weapon in offhand.

With regards to all others:
1) lowest delay
2) best ratio.

With this choice, certainly the jade mace b/c of ratio. You could pretty easily get a Crystalline Short Sword which is the go to rogue offhand for 2-3k weapons.
