Default Call for LNS to be disabled for all Raids... GMs, lets talk...

LNS works well in small pvp situations. It is easy to tell who is dead, coming back for corpse recovery and such.

However in mass pvp it is a TOTAL nightmare. It is impossible for someone to see a geared person in the middle of 20-40 people and know if they just looted their stuff when pvp action is still happening.

Also LNS is being used as a shield. Here is the example from tonight. After the main battle in Solb, Nihilum zoned our the remaining 12-16 people and Red Dawn did not follow. Nihilum then controlled Lavastorm while Red Dawn controlled Solb. Our goal was to prevent them from adding more people to their raid and luring them out into Lavastorm to negate their numbers, we also had reinforcements coming. Red Dawn had people coming from Nek to add to their raid. We would kill them in Lavastorm. Then they would come back and we could not touch them, they would loot and then walk into Solb and add to Red Dawns existing raid.

According to LNS once you die in pvp if you are ressed in you must LNS. This is IMPOSSIBLE to track. Meaning you cannot combat ress.

By far the easiest solution for this is to just disable LNS for any raids greater than 12 people.

You forgot to mention that all of the people you killed in Lavastorm after the main battle were naked and trying to get to their bodies in Sol B to begin with. And you would kill us without the chance. Which is why the ban hammer came down on your ilk.

I wasn't aware that the Hand of CSR spoke to their targets before they smote them.

I ran through lava storm on my cleric for naggy and got ganked. I ran back looted and nihilum were trying to force me to LNS to nektulos instead of solb. You can't tell me where to zone. If I die in lava storm then I can scoot to a zone of my preference.

They tried to snare me and attack me but I resisted and ran into solb. You guys wonder why ban hammers were laid down? Because you do shit like that. Serves you right

You are only saying that because you lost in SolB and couldn't do the same thing with roles reversed.

That could be more of a gray area than you're making it out to be (at least with how I always thought LNS rules were applied).

How I see it:
A fight over a contested mob can span multiple zones, and until one side loses (i.e. has to LNS because they lack the ability to rez/loot their dead on their own), zone lines alone don't dictate what 'scooting' means. Example - Nihilum backs out to lavastorm while waiting for help in order to block reinforcements, but did not have to invoke LNS. If they're still fighting over Nagafen, zoning into solb isn't 'scooting'.

This is hypothetical - if they DID LNS out of solb they no longer have claim enough to consider that a contested zone, in which case you'd be 'scooting' out of lavastorm, not out of the Nagafen fight.

How it's being enforced:
LNS is defined entirely by the zone you're in with no consideration given to what you're actually fighting over.

Now, I haven't participated in any of these fights. To be honest, I'm getting discouraged about leveling up at all - it feels like even if I do my best to keep pvp grief-free I'll cross some line I didn't know existed and get suspended or banned outright. It makes me want to avoid pvping altogether.

That is completely wrong. How you could get it so wrong? Oh right, you weren't at any of these fights.

Yesterday GM's were broadcasting that if u got YT'd in either of the zones, u need to clear out of both of them! Then an hour later, a few RD died in neriak Commons but got suspended because scooting to Neriak Foreign Quarters wasn't far enough apparently.
