If, after Velious, you continue to play P99 and the devs decide to do custom content, what would like to see feature-wise and content-wise?

Ok fine, i guess if i had to pick something custom without ruining the 'classic' element, id have to say new skins for pets. I played Rift for a while and one thing i thought was cool was that as you leveled up, there were different models for pets, especially necro pets.
Oh and maybe mounts. | ||

Leave it alone, then release a new server that sticks to timeline now that they got it down.

Honestly the best thing is probably to do the following, since after velious the server is no longer "classic" and we wont be limited to the heinous "classic" ruleset:
-Boost Experience rate by maybe 5X at least. There is no reason it should EVER take longer then maybe two weeks to max a character if you are playing every day. The exp rate on this server is horrendous and is certainly not "classic" by any means. This needs to be addressed immediately or I see a mass amount of players leaving the server VERY soon. -Starter gear: Some of the best eqemu servers out there offer starting gear on venders for free. Nobody in their right mind wants to spend HOURS at camps. The best set of gear is probably something custom made with a decent click buffs on most (if not all) pieces of the gear. -Mercenaries: Probably the greatest thing everquest ever invented. This is almost a necessity on this server now the way I see it. I've spent upwards of an hour in the past just trying to get a damn group. Mercenaries solve this problem as well as adding a whole new level of complexity to soloing. -PoK books: Travel in this game is tedious and everyone knows it. PoK books were added to solve this problem. Just because something is "classic" doesnt necessarily mean we need to take it at face value. -Boxing: So many people want to box and you are driving droves of players away from the server with this rediculous rule. Everquest has always been about boxing and that is how sony was able to keep so many subscriptions for so long. Taking away boxing is pretty much limiting your servers lifespan. Imagine if sony outlawed boxing how many people would quit? | ||
