Game Mechanics: Song cast bar

I'm not sure if this has been reported or if is just me. I have been having issues on my bard where the song cast bar randomly disappears. I have tested many different situations to see if its something particular that causes it. From what i can gather it does it more in combat than any other time. Its extremely frustrating because the song actually continues to cast even tho the bar vanishes. But reflexes cause me to restart the song because it appears the song has stopped casting. Youre help is appreciated

Yeah, honestly, this has been reported, quite a few times. My guess is it's a tricky issue to fix.

This has been happening off and on for my bard, (Jhase). It happened SO much the other night that I started taking screenshots. I have two screenshots a second or so apart, showing NO casting bar, and no "cast message" - and then a second later, the "cast message" magically appears.

This is only a gut level feeling, but it *feels* as if the casting bar is disappearing at the same point it would if the spell had fizzled, (but it didn't fizzle). It doesn't happen every time, and it seems to happen more often when in a group. But I have had it happen randomly in all different circumstances and all different songs. The only thing in common is that the timing *feels* like I had just fizzled. Which makes me look at the Spell crystals and see that they are dark - indicating I'm currently singing something and have NOT fizzled.

I've noticed something odd about this, if it's a detrimental song (mez, aoe damage etc...) it will always still go off but if it's a buff (haste, stats etc...) the song will only go off like 30-40% of the time, the other times the UI will act as if I'm singing but nothing will ever go off.

Hopefully that makes sense.
