Default Girls in Gaming: GMChat ep. 4

Hail, lady adventurers of Norrath!

Looking for one, maybe two more adventuring women to come join us tonight for this segment on GMChat. We're going to spend about an hour talking about women in gaming; the challenges they face, advantages they may have, where gaming is headed in the future, as well as what it used to be like for women who didn't follow traditional "gender roles" for entertainment.

I'll also be discussing female protagonists in games, and why a strong female lead (read: not just a pair of tits) can make or break a game. I'll also briefly share my thoughts on the latest 'scandal' to break out of the gaming industry, involving female game developer Zoe Quinn, and allow anyone joining me who's familiar with the subject to do the same.

Guests can remain anonymous if they'd like, and share their thoughts/feelings with the community on an open platform. Whether you feel harassed, or welcomed with open arms, we want to hear about it!

All of our previous guests had a lot of fun and if you feel any anxiety over being on a "show" that quickly fades, and besides - no one watches our programs anyway [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you're interested in being a guest, send me a PM or e-mail me at gmchat99@gmail.com
Anyone with two X chromosomes and gaming experience is welcome to join, we already have several guests lined up but I would like a couple more in order to get a wider range of opinions. Come join us and let your voice be heard!

We will be streaming this live at 9pm EST/6pm PST tonight, September 24, 2014.

Next week we will finally do a segment on Class R and CSR interaction. This was meant for Episode 4, but do to recent media events I decided to bump it back a week and replace it with this. We hope to see you all for both streams!
