Game Mechanics: Lava in VP does too much damage

Seems like the lava damage was normal in classic. Impossible to take 10 damage, or even less than 100 damage currently.

Saw another post that was around 140 as well.

I'd think anything above 100-150 should min lava damage to 10 a tick. And no lava should be more dangerous than that.

What is the current amount of damage it does and at what fire resist?

I went for a lava bath last night with <100 FR and it didn't seem too terrible, but it certainly wasn't as low as 10

Pretty sure 10 dmg is what I took doing Eejag the other day with FR buffs on - but VP lava may do more as a baseline.

"Environmental" damage like lava is calculated on the clientside, just to put that out there.

154 Damage @ 140 Heat Resist

167 Damage @ 100 Heat Resist

170 Damage @ 90 Heat Resist

180 Damage @ 60 Heat Resist

184 Damage @ 50 Heat Resist

...that seems way high
