Game Mechanics: Paladin-Militia = no friends

Sorry bored at work and this has been on my mind for a few months. Mithaniel Marr paladin (starts in freeport) should be dubious to militia off the bat. I was amiable. (lol someone just prank called my office).

This is, of course, unless militia to pally faction was changed in the very beginning of eq... I started playing summer 99.. if that's the case then apologies!

Yea i was surprised i was on my pally and she is amiable as Erudite pally of Prexus. Even if shes not the opposing faction (NFP/mith marr) pally, amiable IMO was a tad high. atleast Appre or indiff would have made me not take a doublesnap.

Can't imagine why anyone would be: any paladin worth his salt looks forward to being kos with the fp militia. As, of course, you know.

While doing my soulfire on prekunark Emarr, I figured that I would be very KoS after killing Sir Lucan.

I gathered up.. a lot of people, like 50 of the highest people showed up to fight lucan. At the *very* end of his lifebar, Aeolwind succeeds with an Atone. Only 2-3 people got a faction hit; I wasn't one of them. Thanks again Aeol [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Was non-kos paladin to Militia :P A big deal at the time.

I looked forward to being kos to the militia. Nowadays, I try to make good races kos to militia. cuz they're EVIL.

But I am 99% certain (not 100% only cuz I never deal in absolutes (I'm not a sith)) that a human paladin of mithaniel marr is dubious to militia from the beginning. I do not know about any other race/deity combinations as was mentioned above.

Speaking of Factions. I have been working on NFP - Paladin faction by killing WFP guards/Lucan the last couple weeks. I am no warmly to all guards in NFP except for 2. Some leather wearing guy behind the paly building. And Sir Akmin. Is he on a different faction than all the other Palys? Or is he broke?
