Default Error 1017

EQ crashed after I died and now I can't reconnect... Getting 1017 errors, no servers loading, spells.txt out of date, patcher needs to run, Error - A timeout occurred, and internet connectivity errors... Anyone have any ideas?

I tried to re-install Titanium as well... Is there a difference if I use Eq launch.bat or a link to eqgame.exe with the the " patch me?

Thanks!

I was having a lot of weird errors that I was able to correct by not only reinstalling but reinstalling to a completely new directory, maybe give this a shot?

Default Issue

I had this same issue and come to find out it was just my internet ISP was lagging bad. I have fiber so didn't even expect that to be the case. But if your internet is lagging, run a speed test to check it. If it is lagging than give it some time to fix or call your ISP.

Example- my nets suppose to be 20mbps download. it was spiking to 20 than instantly dropping down to 2-3 mbps. Which 2-3 would normally let you play EQ (we played on dial up in 99) but for some reason i kept getting that error. I could surf the web, but not get on EQ. It took a day for mine to clear up and now i can log in again easy.
Try this an let us know.
