Default Raid bards nowadays (and in the future)

Are bards still as great to have around in raids now as they were before the 255 resist cap was put in? Do resist songs lose their power in Velious when players can get more and more resists on their gear without having to sacrifice other stats to do so? What other roles will bards have in raids besides resist songs and pumping mana for casters? Is it a big issue for bards that there are so many important buffs from other classes, not leaving much room in the buff window for songs?

Mana / hp regen songs. Both pretty huge in Velious, but yeah the NEED for them has dropped quite a bit.

There will also be occlusion of sound, an unresistable resist debuff. Also when mobs are constantly quadding, damage shields will play a bigger role.

There will always be a need for about 3 of them on velious raids IMO. That being said, while before you could easily be happy with 6, the resist cap change has made that not as necessary.
