![]() Hello, I'm a newer member of the p99 server and just recently have I reached high enough level to start joining raids. With raiding and buffs much different here than on live, I was wondering if anyone had a link to a nice guide for which classes provide the best buffs (I'm asking as a monk myself). I know rangers don't get an atk buff until velious, shamans have stat buffs and avatar (although it requires emeralds) and enchanters have a few different types of haste, each with different benefits as well. But also, clerics/druids/shaman all have different types of hp/ac buffs and I'm not sure how they would stack either. Finally, knowing which classes have the best resist buffs in each category would be helpful as well.
Any advice would be great, or a link to guide or something would be nice too.

![]() HP: heroic bond (cleric) or natureskin (druid) + symbol of marzin/naltron's mark (cleric) + talisman of kragg (shaman)
Stats: maniacal strength, riotous health, mortal deftness, and maybe deliriously nimble, or their group versions (all shaman) Damage: visions of grandeur (enchanter), share wolf form (druid) Resists: group resist magic (enchnter), and then a bunch of different classes can cast Resist Poison/Disease/Fire/Cold, including some group versions of the spells. There's other stuff too that could conceivably come up that can help: avatar, bard epic procs, bard resist songs... there might be some other static buffs that give resist bonuses that stack with Resist spells (does that shaman poison resist buff stack with Resist Posion? mage damage shields give some fire resist I think?). If you're pulling, or the stuff you're fighting AEs, or you're tanking, then you'll want the full lineup. If you're just DPSing I assume you can forget about resist buffs (probably still get MR though) and agility buffs. Haste can be funny since there are haste caps at different levels. If you're only 46ish, VoG and any haste item will put you over the haste cap so VoG for the extra attack and dex is better than something that gives more haste... unless your enchanters need to save mana by clicking epics. At higher levels VoG might not haste cap you, depending on what your item haste is, but I don't really know if the attack from VoG or a few % more haste from speed of the shissar or wondrous rapidity is a bigger deal.

![]() VoG over Epic click is pretty meh.
Is 25 DEX and 20 ATK worth 275 mana..? Unless your enchanter isn't doing other buffs, busy CCing or charming, or you have a lot of prep time yea. Otherwise, that free haste is so tasty.

![]() Now if you wanna talk about saving mana...
If there's multiple shamans on a raid, split buff requests. Str = 150 mana. Sta = 150 mana. Tali = 375 mana. Ask one shaman for Str / Sta. Ask the other for Tali. Unless you know the other shaman is awful. Then just bug the one you like for all of them. Rogues don't need Dex or Agi. Casters don't need enlightenment (in Kunark). Don't ask Encs for VoG after a wipe. Get epic click. Shame them if they don't have it.

![]() For the monks reading this considering talisman, it does not stack with Major Shielding proc from SoS. Sometimes the MR from MS is worth it over the hp from tali!
