Does this do anything other than reduce fizzles?

I think it can also reduce the spell cost of spells from that school by a couple of mana randomly, but I might be mistaken.

at 200 score it relates to an overall mana saving of 11% casting that type of spell. a score of 50 is roughly 3% saving in mana when casting

Is this mana saved via lack of fizzles? Or it actually reduces the amount of mana the spell costs?

as the other guy said, each cast has a random chance to reduce the cost of the spell. the net effect over time is as i posted above

i dont know if specialisation has any effect on fizzles

I see. Thanks! Anyone have opinions on Shaman specialization? My guess is I should spec conjuration if I'm doing a lot of soloing and alteration if I'm doing a lot of grouping.
