Default Compass?

When was the compass added? Having to spam sense heading is just annoying!

It is annoying. Welcome to Project 1999, where both the content AND the UI stay the way they were in 1999-2003*!

* except when limited by the Tittanium client.

You can relieve some of the pain of sense heading by binding the hotkey to your left and right arrow keys (or whatever you use to turn).

Options->keys->hotbar

Set whatever hotbutton # you have sense heading on to also be pressed with whatever other key you want.

You can also add it to spell / ability macros via "/doability #", where # is where you set it on your ability menu.

to relieve this inconvenience, simply carry a rusty short sword around with you at all times.

dropping the sword on the ground will always point north.

you can then telegraph the direction you choose to travel in increments of 45 degrees angles.

you're welcome.

Does the cloud trick work here? I swear I tried that when I was first starting, remembering the clouds always went west to east but I still kept getting lost. Though maybe a sky setting I have turned on/off.
