Green Jade Broadsword or Baton of Faith

Saving up for a weapon for my Paladin who is level 6. They both cost the same, but obviously each has their advantages and disadvantages.

What's the better pick here?

Jade Green Broadsword before level 20, easy.

Before level 10, consider your baton of faith to be a 10/40 weapon.
From level 10 to 19, it is a 12/40 weapon.
Its starts hitting for nearly full damage around level 20, but till increase again at level 30.

Green Jade Broadsword. This way you can use a shield. It also has pretty nice stats. The shield will give you a good amount of extra mitigation and once you get some cash later on you can also get a shield that will have stats.

Paladin dps is laughable, so the 2h isnt really that needed. What is needed is for you to be able to tank well, and a shield is huge for that.

paladin = aggro sponge, shines in groups. My personal fave tank class to have in an exp grp. The good ones know *exactly* when to save the day with a LoH to a key group member. Good paladins are amazing. And it sure ain't because of their dps lol.

10 to 19 its 14/40
