For me, it just doesn't get any better than D3. Most people I know prefer D2, and don't get me wrong, I love it, but D3 is just a great maturation for the Ducks.

Seeing Team USA take down Iceland was great. Gunnar Stahl was a formidable foe and also turned out to be a class act even in defeat ("Lets go shake their hands"). Also watching Gordon Bombay get his revenge over Wolf "The Dentist" Stanson is great.

But c'mon? Eden Hall Prep School? JV vs Varsity? No Gordon Bombay behind the bench? Charlie stripped of his captaincy? Adam Banks on the Varsity team instead of the JV "Ducks"? The passing of Hans? Revoking of Scholarships until Bombay comes back and threatens legal action? Dean Portman coming back for the final period of the JV vs Varsity showdown?

It really doesn't get any better than D3.
