Quest Issue: Leatherfoot Raiders Quest

I tried to complete the Leatherfoot Raiders Quest (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=56) to obtain the intermediate Leatherfoot Raider's Cap (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=60673) another reference about players discussing it here for further detail http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=18509.

He judges me amiably and he didn't say anything when I tried to hand in the items, he just gave them back to me.

It worked fine with me, I used A Grizzly Bear Skin, not the thick one.

must use regular grizzly bear skin, not thick one, and also must use stackable non-lore shark skin.

Aww, you gotta be kidding me! I read that it was specifically the thick bear skin and not the regular. It took me forever to get it, I had sold so many of the regulars before I got it, hah. I'll give it a go, thanks.
