Level Bracketed PVP Tournament

I'm looking for 3 volunteers, at least one of you has to be richer than me.

To host a level bracketed pvp tournament, with 3 main brackets:

Level 20
Level 30
Level 40

There are a couple reasons for the level brackets -- I know the relative strengths of classes at each level is not equal, it never really is. Most classes have their kit by 30, and if not by then certainly by 40. There are also weapons that only proc by certain levels, and some much earlier than others which adds to the spice and variety of builds available to each race/class. With these level ranges people can level characters to compete without a huge amount of time commitment and be competing against twinks with items they also have access to as well. The variety of builds at each level should be interesting.

The tournaments take place in venues appropriate for the levels across Norrath -- the first one will be held the week of May 11-15 (I'd hate to compete with repops or raids, so whatever day that week) probably held in Crushbone -- while this first event is just for level 20's it will be mainly to gauge interest and get a better feel for logistics. Ports will be available, racial teams and deity (and guild) themes are encouraged. There will be terrain restrictions and blatant disqualifications will be enforced. There will be a 3v3 and a 5v5 currently, if I get enough volunteers we can try and work out 1v1's and class v class (its complicated how to structure that one). The rewards are currently undecided, I was thinking 3000pp for the winning 3v3 and 5000 for the 5v5 until I find more richer sponsors than myself.

The purpose is for this to be a twinked pvp event on the p1999 red server. However in order to make sure this is not a dumb whoever has a fungi wins event there will be item restrictions.

Hence the first volunteer I'm looking for is going to decide what those restrictions should be, you should be well versed in pvp mechanics and generally aware of the items available to what class, at what levels and whether it will have a huge influence example: I'm inclined to ban epics and fungi tunics at the very least. A lustrous russet twink with vp weapons won't make it either. Iksar Regen breastplate might not be gamebreaking at the 40 bracket. The level ranges are also open to debate, if 25/35/45 will be more interesting or something fine.

The second volunteer I need has to be organized and the kind of neckbeard who enjoys this kind of shit. I hate running events, I want to help in the background and maybe host it but if you currently host events on blue this could be your job. I would prefer this to be hosted in a non-partisan way i.e. not associated with any guild on blue or red for recruiting purposes (however sponsorship is encouraged).

The third volunteer has to help me farm the prizes or plat prizes for the brackets, or help me manage the donations (if any) towards the tournament. The example I will give here is if <Fresh> decides to donate a prize, but they want to hand it out themselves we will simply just make sure it happens and facilitate it in any way possible.

Uh staff who can deathtouch would be nice too, for when Burgerking inevitably shorts out and needs to be deathtouched like its a shock treatment. I'm joking here, I think we could do it without needing staff but plenty of people on red like to ruin everyone's fun and that's just a reality. But I bet like 50 people petitioning an account for harassment after we kill them will net them some kind of punishment.

As an aside most of the twinks are pretty terrible and they know it, and I bet more than one won't show their face for the level 20 or 30 brackets. (Lool vs Cacheo? depends on if green text counts I guess Cacheo).

Also paging FEANOL. I complimented your screenshots. I think if you had a level one naked gnome roaming around you could get some good action shots and document the battles.

This is a really good idea, I just need the right men (or women) to make this a persistent reality.
