How do you drop something on the ground?

I'm trying to transfer to an alt on blue. I can't figure how to drop something rather than destroy it.

click on player to trade to them OR click into nothingness & drop on ground?
Money wont drop anymore; if that's what you're trying to do. Please find a reputable player in a reputable guild to do your trade.

Do a /who all dial. Dial a Port is a guild full of characters who port, escort, and help with item transfers all the time. Twice I've been helped by one of their members to transfer items to another character cross-continent... It's basically what they do. They've all been super cool with accepting whatever you can spare as compensation too. Check them out, they've got a good reputation.

Good advice. I've done all kinds of transfers and item deliveries to the far corners of the world. It isn't free, but it beats the hell outta ground transferring or risking it with some other shady characters.
