Default Between Login issues and game (Not Responding)

Before people start yelling that I need to post these issues in the tech area, I am aware and will be doing so.

Where to start, yes lets start with the log in. It takes me almost 30-40 minutes to log in between the missing server list, fail to connect, blank character select screen, and the new problem that tells me my internet must be off because I can not connect. I have just about had it. This also ties in when the games stops responding at all stages of the game, after putting in a password and waiting for server list, after entering the server list to character select, after character select and at every zone line I hit. With all of that, I was on my computer 2 hours and got I think 45 minutes of actual game play. the rest was dealing with the above. Im just frustrated at the moment. And needed to vent here.

Then when u get it up and running, it'll take u 5 minutes to realize u are in a completely toxic cesspool with the lowest internet dwellers competing to rip each other off and stop their personal progress.

Maybe not being able to login isn't the worst thing that can happen to someone.

Is your monitor on?

You may have been recommended to get dial-up for that ultimate classic experience, but there are some things you should keep up with and interwebz is one of them.

Also, timezone? PC it's running on? Fresh Titanium install? Give RnF the details bro.

Turn your computer off, check to make sure your power cord and internet cords are plugged in, and then turn your computer back on again. If this still doesn't work, open your DVD drive and blow in it.

You're welcome.

Some times I blow the dust out of the cartridge, then I push it in while I'm pushing it down so it makes a perfect connection with the console. Some people say you should only use rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to clean them out, but I have never had an issue.

Hope this helps!

RNF'ing aside... sounds like you're on a wireless connection, a connection that is at max bandwidth capacity (downloads, netflix, etc), or something like that.

Plugging an ethernet cable in and cutting off everyone else's internet access for 5 minutes so you can test it is the first thing I'd do.

You're really not missing out on anything. Nothing about this server is worth it. The server staff is biased and incompetent, selectively enforcing non classic rules. The forums are full of nothing but trolls, and the server community itself is full of the lowest form of degenerate trash I've ever encountered. Just walk away while you still can. I know nostalgia is real, but there is none to be found here.
