Default Shadowknight rest the dead and charisma

Does the shadowknight lull line "rest the dead" rely on charisma to check for critical resists?
Not that im a shadowknight or anything my friend who isnt here needs to know this.

Never has on P99, not sure if classic or not... but my necro with 17 charisma can lull stuff that my cleric with 70 charisma will fail more often at.

Since when do the dead care about how charismatic you are? Most of them don't even have eyeballs anymore!

I think it does. As a 60 nec I struggle to lull undead in HS. Lower level chanters don't have nearly the same problems.

Could be the level gap/bad luck... my only memories of my cleric attempting to lull mobs were fail, fail, fail, inc 4!

Had a far easier time than on the necro. I guess based on that enchanters must be on easy street [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Charisma isn't how good you look, it's behavior, persuasiveness, general force of personality, etc.

If it were just looks then clearly the majestic ogre would be at the top, but whenever they open their mouth it sounds like the average RnF post, so they're last place.

Clerics dont generally have high charisma either ;p

I think the cha based part of lulls effects the critical resists rather than the initial land/resist. That seeems to be the general concensus from what I remember reading.
