For example, imagine the game engine assigned a % of mobs killed to each guild and adjusted the loot table accordingly. If a dominating guild like that gets over 50% of all raid targets kills Vulak, they might get only 3 items instead of 4, while a guild that gets 10% of all raid targets might get 6 items instead of 4.
