Default WL crash at 11pm EST - Reduction in Elders and beads

Last night around 11pm est in WL the zone crashed and came back up but after that, the spawn rate of elders seemed to have deminished, i have been here going on 13 hours now and there has only been 1-4 elders spawn ever 2-3 hours and that's including the named/ph.

this may be speculation but due to over farming i strongly believe they have slowed the spawn/drop rate of the elders and beads

I can confirm before the zone Crashed, we were getting 8-10 elders spawning in the cave per hour. between 5:25am and 7:25am est we only see 1 elder in the 2 hours and the rate of strong branches have decreased as well there has been only 1 raider in the last 6 hours. This spawn has officially been nerfed. done believe me go waste your time in the cave.

I love how you use the term "Officially", when its just you that are claiming it.

Right or wrong, it wont ever be officially nerfed unless its announced by the Staff

Took me about 11 hrs over 2 sessions on beta and I had the whole cave to myself. Do the smart thing and trade a fungi for some beads and get on with your life.

If you were seeing 8-10 elders AN HOUR, that was far, far better rate than they were on Beta.

Early beta numbers:

153 kills, 8 elders
139 kills, 13 elders
172 kills, to get beads, not sure # of elders

I camped my beads for 12 hours in the cave. They dropped off the 20th Elder. I'll let you go ahead and do the elder rate per hour math there, but it sure wasn't 8-10.

Anytime the RNG has fun with you, people come swarming to the forums to post bug threads.

We have people posting 2x loot tables claiming drop rates are screwed. How can you base anything off of 2 kills?!
