Default Warrior Gear/Tanking

Hey guys,

I've created a twink warrior on which I've spent (quite a bit) of time and effort obtaining gear. As a primary focus, I tried to use items with high +HP. Second, I focused on getting STR and STA near 200 and finally, I put whatever else I could in DEX. I placed all my starting points into DEX at character creation.

While this toon is decently twinked, I am not rich and cannot afford anything like a fungi, COF, etc. (Unless I was really lucky and won something worth a lot). I'm really looking for refinements on my gear selection - things I can buy at a reasonable price (Definitely under 10k, preferably a lot less) - that would make me as defensive as possible while still keeping passable threat generation.

I want this to be a min/max character to bring to 60 and I want to have a relatively painless experience in my 50's. Below is my Magelo. Any advice is appreciated.

P.S. - For 1handers (Not listed in Magelo), I have two Ykeshan weapons which I plan on using post-40.

Thank you!

There's a whole subforum dedicated to Tanks. That said, you need a haste item and a good ranged. Maybe grab a spectral bow from TT [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thank you both! I totally didn't catch there was a subforum. I agree that I need a bow - I don't know why this didn't occur to me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Those are awesome weapons I didn't even know existed! I heard of the venomous brood axe, but the other two I haven't. They seem to be good quality and reasonably priced (if the wiki is accurate). I think they're something good for me to look into.

^ this is a FREE option for a haste item. You can farm it on your druid then loot on warrior while also acquiring a spectral bow.

On his Magelo it shows him wearing schw which is 22% haste. Is a new age bilbo haste gloves with stats.

id suggest a staff of battle. you dont need proc weapons til high level. low level mobs die so fast staff is better, it does mega damage. also its relatively cheap, 1k or less, and good "forever" (outparses warrior epic 2 hander)
