farming grobb/oggok faction
Is there any mobs you can farm to increase troll and/or ogre factions? I read the faction guide listed in the p99 game companion link in the library, but it only has the good races.
I was thinking of killing guards with a partner in grobb/oggok, but I may need to go back there later for quest purposes (i'm an enchanter). Wondering if it's relatively easy to fix later. | ||

As a chanter? do the stein quest. My 'chanter is up to dubious and she's erudite. no illusion necessary (think I've only run the stein three times?)

Well, if I go hunt the guards, I'd be KOS eventually and therefore unable to do the stein quest. Right?
Illusion just sets your base faction to what that race would have, it doesn't REset it. I'd basically be at the same level any race would be after killing their own guards for awhile, thhe'd still be KOS. | ||

So run the quests first get your faction up to "you can kill my entire family in front of me and I'll congratulate you on your attention to artistic detail in the slaying" and then kill the heck out of the guards.

I was able to become non kos to the guards in grobb as a human agnostic monk. What I did was hand in about 1k bone chips to a SK guildmaster with wolf form on. It took about 20 minutes to turn all those in. I also turned in 30ish fire beetle eyes to another quest person in grobb whose name I can't remember. I think my faction started out as threatening and I'm now at apprehensive with the guards. The banker is still threatening to me though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I don't think there is an easy way to improve Oggok faction. Pickled froglok is the best way but that requires a ton of froglok meat which is surprisingly hard to come by in large quantities. TLDR: You can "easily" fix grobb faction but not Oggok faction. | ||

Well... thanks for the help, but unless wolf form works differently then illusions, you guys didn't really read what I was asking.
If I have to do some long, drawn out questing process to raise it up, and I have to be non-kos to do the quests, it defeats the purpose of killing the guards (quick exp/leveling). I was wondering if there was a mob, or way to farm it once i'm level 50 and already kos in any illusion. | ||
