Were you around just before Velious launch? Their neckbeards locked down raid content and perma farmed exp zones, griefing NEW PLAYERS THAT DIDN'T JOIN THEM that JUST WANTED TO RAID.

Good Guys, TMO are 2 of the other larger guilds that have existed, one is completely disbanded (which fed into Empire and TMO) and the other is a shell of its former self (many players griefed of the box, like Jinger, see long quitting thread for history).

Over a year ago Empire leaders who were members of a guild called Nihilum collected borderline / falsified information to get the guild disbanded by a GM they themselves have called dubious and corrupt, which saw another 20-50 people quit the box never to return.

I think if you look at the timeline, <Empire> had a chance to be different by allowing <Fresh> to get raid targets (just like Nihilum let Red Dawn get targets, HEY??), but unfortunately their leadership core is too fucking greedy.

Now they realise they are running on fumes and cannot do velious content consistently and need to boost the server pop, which is why they aren't going hard in the paint grief style.

Fuck Empire, shitty ass guild needs to go. They had so many chances to do the right thing so many times, but chose to abuse their numbers and neckbeards to ensure total control of the pyramid scheme called R99.

You just need to put everyone online in the same zone. Also avoid velious on empire free days.

Still plenty of shit you can get done on kunark. Two days a week velious is a shit show, rest of the time it's doable.
