![]() So, my character died a week or two ago, but I haven't been able to play since due to real life issues. I was wondering if a corpse lasts a month or much less then that.
I died to a frost giant scout in Iceclad ocean at approximately -1978, 5059 on a large rock next to the druid/wizard portal. I believed I deleveled from 40 to 39 as well, but logged into a lv40 mage again (Burdoc). If the corpse disappeared due to the patch I would appreciate any help offered from the tech team, but if it disappeared because of time...well, guess I need to start grinding for gear again *doih*. | ||

![]() I know that this isn't classic, but I never understood the logic behind permanent corpse decay besides not allowing people to store Lore and/or Temporary items permanently. It seems like something that would only affect people who were not able to play for a significant length of time after dying. In other words, given enough effort and help, active players are practically guaranteed to get their corpse back within a week of dying.

![]() Moregan is now at the point where he does not even need a petition to summon a corpse.
