Bard Epic + Mana Song

Is Cassindra's Chorus of Clarity impacted by the bard epic instrument modifier?

I know the mana regen component of Cantana of Replenishment does not.

The wiki says epic does impact Cassindra's, but can anyone confirm?

Mana ticks not affected by epic.

I was under the impression that mana pulses were modified, but that mana ticks (from the song line that gives you a buff on your buff bar) are not affected.

Then again, I don't have an epic to test it.

Yes, Mana inject (Cassindra's Chorus) IS affected by epic, regular mana song (Cantata) isn't

Hmm didn't know this. I just read that the wiki on song says the epic affects it. Is this tested? I never thought mana components were affected by the epic.

Only for the basic Mana per pulse. Cantana remains uneffected

I actually just tested this today. Used a thirsty guy with 0 mana regen.

No Epic: 2205 to 2212 mana (7)
Epic: 2212 to 2219 mana (7)

I did test it for more data, but it always gave 7.

IIRC, songs that require an instrument are not impacted by the instrument modifier.

Could be wrong though, its been years.

Level 32 mana song is supposed to be affected by epic. I'll test later today to see if it is in fact, but if eatery is right, it needs to be bugged and fixed ASAP.

The reason it was nerfed in the first place in PoP was that when you had epic + shadowsong cloak, and you played amplification, it was giving ridiculous amounts of mana.

The change was made on november 5th, 2003:

Cassindra's Chant of Clarity and Cassindra's Chorus of Clarity now lasts 3 ticks instead of being instant.

Eatery is right. I had 0 mana regen (even waited a good 10 minutes after to make sure it was absolutely 0) and we did his test. Never got more than 7 mana.
